Our Process
Get A Quote
Our certified technicians will review your electricity bill and show you exactly how much you're going to save by producing your own energy. This will include any utility company rebates and the 30% Solar Investment Tax Credit.
Site Assesment
Technicians will survey the property to make sure your home is qualified to go solar. They will assess your roof, shading, and electrical wiring to ensure it's structural integrity and compatibility for switching to renewable energy.
Custom Design
Technicians custom build your system and show you a 3D model indicating how much electricity you will generate. They will show you exactly how it will look on your home.
Installation
Installation will typically take 2 days or less. Clearly Solar takes care of the entire project for you. No hassle dealing with HOA's or trying to get a permit. The entire process is completely hands free.

We get it, solar can be confusing!
First, sunlight is absorbed by the PV cells in your solar panels which creates a direct current electrical charge. Because your home requires alternate current for its lights, electronics and appliances, this current flows through an inverter which converts the DC current to AC.From here, electricity from your panels will flow directly into your home to give you power real time for your electronics. Any overproduction that occurs will flow back out into the grid where it will be credited to your utility account for future use in offsetting your night time power consumption.
Because of the federal funding for solar systems, solar has never been more affordable. Currently the Government is paying for 30% of your solar system in the form of a Tax Credit, this program is referred to as ITC or Investment Tax Credit.In addition to the ITC program there are absolutely zero upfront cost or hidden fees with solar. The first time any money comes out of your pocket for your solar system is 1-3 months after the system is installed, in which case it is money you already have budgeted for your monthly electric bill, but instead of paying the power company this money is redirected to your monthly solar payment which is price protected and provides equity to your home. Solar is not an additional cost in your monthly budget, its is a bill swap with your current utility bill.
Just like your mortgage, most homeowners move before paying off the entire investment. When you move from your home and still have a balance on your mortgage you take what you made on the sale of your home, pay off the remaining balance and collect the equity. Solar is no different, except that it also provides the option of directly transferring the finance package. This means that your name is removed from the solar financing and the new homeowners names are added, so they pick up payments where you left off.Every study done on the resale of homes with solar, wether it’s from the National Association of Realtors, Zillow or Forbes state the same thing, homes with solar sell faster and for more money.
With the installation of your solar system, your are provided a 25 year Workmanship Warranty. This warranty covers any leaks or damage done to your roof and equipment if improperly installed.In addition, most homeowners insurance policies include solar coverage from natural disasters or potential re-roofing down the road.
Because solar consists of only panels and inverters and there are no moving parts, solar maintenance is few and far between. The occasional cleaning to remove any pollen or bird droppings not taken care of by rain is sometimes necessary to maximize production.
